Global warming proof! New critters invade Canada.
« on: January 19, 2007, 09:57:18 PM »

These guys are under my bird feeder at night.
Look like little devil rats or something.
Their eyes glow in the dark.
The 'hillbilly' staff on Howard Stern talks about eating these things 'down home'.
Anyone familiar with this new type of varmint??

Well, you said also post pictures, not alot of riding going on up here at this time!

p.s. The white stuff is snow.

You got yourself opossums.  They're cranky if they're cornered so keep the dogs away.

Yep, those are possums (or Opossums if you're from the north).  In Texas they make up one third of the road kill along with armadillos and skunks.  Ya gotta pick them up while they're still warm or they taste bitter.  :)

Make fun all you like.  They're actually not bad eating.  When I still hunted I avoided them for small game though.  It's just not fair when you hunt an animal at night by shining a flashlight around then plunking with a .22 between the transfixed reflections.

Yeah, but you're just talking about the crowd staggering back across the street from the pizza place.

Yep, there were a few of those LED/HID headlights on that crowd 8-)

Wish we were there (and it was June).

Less than 6 months to Nelson. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Yes, I think that's why they outlawed hand guns up there, I can't think of any other good reason.  Also, why the shuttle will run from Toad Rock and the Hotel the night of the shindig and bonfire (weather permitting) I hope.  I love bonfires.

Leave the heat at home.  Unless someone wants to use my gunsafe on that leg of the trip.

It is so cold in Canada, that you have to have some liquor in the veins just to keep from freezing.  Otherwise you gotta plug in your block heater.
