motorcycle shipping companies
« on: September 01, 2015, 08:17:30 PM »

I'm looking for some recommendations of motorcycle shipping companies. A friend needs 2 bikes shipped from Houston to Jacksonville Fl. All input would be appreciated from the best to those to stay away from.

Thanks, Danner

I would say keep clear of a company that bids out their jobs, like you see on TV (shipping Wars) job given to the lowest bidder.
You may pay a bit more for a none bidding company  but at least you'll know if any damage was to accrue  their insurance will cover repairs. :nixweiss:

In the past, I have had 2 bikes shipped from California to Ohio, a Sportster and an Ultra Classic, both were good, damage free, timely experiences, the Company was JC Motors, their website is motorcycleshippers.com, good luck !!

Another that used Keyboard Carriage.  Shipped from Sacramento to Atlanta, two bikes, damage free.  The Svc. Mgr. at the dealership in Atlanta made a comment about having seen many bikes shipped and never seen anything like the bike carriages that Keyboard uses.  :2vrolijk_21:

I sold a Bushtec trailer to a guy in California, he used Direct Haul Bikes, they damaged the trailer and it has taken 9 months to get them to settle up and pay.

Stay clear.

Keyboard Shipping.

I have done business with them on several occasions over the years...all good.

The harley dealers like them too. They use essentially the same roll around shipping skids that Harley moved to for their new bike shipments to dealers a few years ago.
