I installed a 8 1/2" (I think) (basically same height as stock) Long Ride Shield (LRS) with the re-curve and noticed absolutely no difference from stock whatsoever. I will be looking to see your report with the 8 1/2" also.

You do have your vent open correct? I don't notice very much buffeting but was trying to make better for my BSR.

Any updates?

I put the 8 1/2" klock werks on and it feels like I get more buffeting than the stock shield.
What's everyone using?

I  had  the 8.5" on my 2013 and  liked it. Put it on the 2016 and it has to go. I'm 6'2" and with the seat change from 2013 to 2016 the wind hits me square in the face. Going back to a clearview.

That's been my experience, wind in the face.
My 14 limited was the same way until I put the street glide seat on, then it was fine.
They need to make a 9.5".

Thanks....I was looking at the 11.5

I had the 11.5" on a 2014 Limited and it was terrific, almost no buffeting and never got hit by a bug in all the miles I did with that screen.  It was about 10 degrees below my eye line and great for touring.  Not as good for low speed maneuvering in car parks as you tend to be looking lower but never bad enough to be a big worry.

The stock screen sucked big time.  I would get hit in the face / ears by bugs at least a couple of times per ride.

I'm 6' 4 1/2" and sit pretty tall in the saddle.

While the rest of the crew may be in the same predicament, it's almost always the pilot's job to arrive at the crash site first.

Hi guys,
Sorry to resurrect the old thread but wondered how you're finding the Klock Werks screen? I took delivery of my CVO Limited three weeks ago and have 2,000 KM's up on the clock now. Finding the wind to be quite uncomfortable at 110 kmph and up. Just ordered the 11.5 inch screen this afternoon and hoping it will make a difference. I'm 6'1.

FYI...I'm Not hijacking the original thread here....With all the discussions Re: Windshields...There's a lot of wind that comes up through the forks & causes buffeting from the inner fairing to the rider, The Mo Co offered the triple tree air baffle for years avail pre Rushmore & have not offered one as of yet... Kury has one avail for the Rushmore batwings  :2vrolijk_21:
