I have the hard candy 2015 CVO Street Glide.   Was looking at installing the Air Wing luggage rack and led light kit.   I found 3 parts on the HD website which said it was compatible with my bike then I went to my local dealership and in the book it said "except CVO".   The harness under my seat is much larger than the standard or SG special.   Mine has multiple wires to feed the amp, speakers and tail light.   Even if I decided to install a tour pack on my bike I could never use a light kit for it, at least not made by HD.   Does anyone know of an aftermarket Kit which would allow me to connect the air wing led light.

I've seen CVO SG's with lights on the TP so maybe one of those guys will chime in.   Is there not a plug under the left side cover like the older models have?

Jim at Metal Dragon in Hayward (hd-dude on this forum and also another moderator) can get you dialed.....give him a call. 

A side note......you will also meet many members of this forum at his shop on any given day.  CVOs are his main stay.

HD does in fact have a harness that fits (I have one on mine). I'll have to find my receipt and get you the part number.

The kit number is 68000113. The harness is included in the kit.

Here is a pic of the wiring under my seat.  The part number you referenced has a 6 pin connector.  The wiring on my bike for the tail lights is the large connector on the left.   Could you please send me a pic of your connected wiring under your seat.

At the top of the picture you have a white and black connectors next to each other. The black one is for your rear lights. At least that's the way it is on my '15 SESG. And it is where I connect the wire harness/connector for my tour Pak when I have it on.

You unplug the 6 pin connector that runs closest to the tank, then plug both sides of that connector into the harness that comes in the kit. One side is male, the other female. It tee's into the existing 6 pin connector.  If I were close to my bike right now, I'd take a pic.

Thanks guys.  Just want to validate that it's the black connector.   I'll head to Harley tomorrow to see if they have the harness in stock as I have the LED light already.   I'll follow-up tomorrow.

I installed this LED light kit on my SESG and the wiring harness came with the kit. Along with the feed through gromit.

Plugs into the back molex 6 pin connector.
What light kit did you get?

I purchased a used 68000111 but the guy I purchased the light from cut the wire on the harness so I need to purchase 69200772.  The problem (i thought) and what my local dealership told me was that these wiring kits are not compatible with the CVO but member's here say it is and they've done it.   Tomorrow I'm headed to my dealership to get the harness kit.  Should be a simple connection to the black 6 pin connector.

69200772...that would be the harness.

It splices the wires
Blue-running
Blue/Red-Brake
Black-Ground.

I did not hookup the Running light.  The running to brake did not seem much brighter...so I made it just a brake...like a cyclopes brake light.

Success!!  Thanks for the assist.   At least my local dealership now knows that the air wing led and wiring harness will work contrary to what the HD book says.  You would have thought that the service tech specializing on the CVO SG would have known this.

Ha ha ha, never believe what a dealer says. These guys are the experts, they've seen it all/ done it all.

Not sure why you would think a tech would know this, unless he has actually tried to install the light (or whatever). You have much more faith in a dealer tech than I do.
