Deepest....CFR.  They should bassier then anything I've ever heard on a Harley.  I spoke with Cary Faas when ordering, and he said his mufflers are meant to be ran on true dual headers....so Dresser Duals and CFRs would be what you are looking for.

Exhaust depends on what your looking for.  Sound, CFR would be it.

Performance, they would not be it as there are many better choices for performance.

I did the dresser duals and left the stock slip ons...don't love it.  I was thinking about CFR, Rinehart or I've had Kuryakyn crushers on 2 different SG's in the past and really like those too.  Anybody know how the other two options sound compare to the Kuryakyn?  BTW, I am assuming the V&H and Kuryakyn duals sound basically the same....all the difference comes from the slip ons (once you get rid of the cat).

I heard the Crushers, and while they are supposedly tops for performance, I didn't like the sound compared to my Rineharts.

Rineharts to me are perfect. Not obnoxious for the people riding behind you, but have a great mean sound to them both at idle and while riding. Deep enough to set off car alarms, which always makes me giggle.

To my ears, the Crushers sound didn't have the same "attitude". Depends what you are looking for I guess.

I'm trying to balance looks, performance and sound. I didn't get the power duals because I don't like the way the x pipe looks. The CFRs supposedly sound the best but the torque
Loss is reportedly significant. Rinehart might have been good. I think the crushers give the best performance and what I do like about them is that they are quieter at cruising speeds but really bark at you when you wind through the gears. So it's down to those two for me and I'm leaning toward crushers

Well I ended up getting the Crushers to go with my Dresser Duals.  Using an FP3.  Different map for the crushers than the stock slip ons and wow what a difference.  I could really feel a big SOTP difference.  Love the sound of these crushers too, quiet at crusing RPM's but really deep and loud when you get on it.  I am very happy with this setup.  I think I would like the rineharts too, but I went with what I had been happy with before and am loving it.

I have Vance and Hines power duals with hi output. Nice throaty sound but not obnoxiously loud. sounds very muck like the V&H hi output 2 into 1.

If you are local I would like the chance to put your bike on the dyno for a look at how the FP3 is really doing.  No charge to you just for my own interest

Yeah I would love to see what the FP3 is actually doing.  I was thinking about slip-ons and a FP3 to fine tune, but from what I have read here FP3 is pretty limited on capability. Now I could be wrong or completely backwards here but I thought I read that the FP3 only works in closed loop mode so when you hammer the throttle and get into open loop mode the FP3 is pretty useless again if I am wrong please correct my ignorance.

Also love the sounds of Rinehart's, but have read here that with the 2 1/2 in baffles in those you loose Torque down low (2500-3500) and that is where I ride and want to keep it there.

I like the idea of 4 1/2 VH's to help fill out the cut outs under the bags but again I think the VH baffles are too big.

Rinehart baffles are 2.25" not 2.5.
