Lake Ouachita.  Arguably the largest lake in Arkansas, but we think Bull Shoals has it beat for clarity and beauty!  Taken from on top of the dam.

The rig.
We were on National Scenic Byway Hwy 7 North, in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. 
You could almost hear the banjo music down in the valley...

At another scenic and very sheer area along Highway 7 north.  We had to put our jackets on at this point as the air was really dry and crisp and the temps were down a good 6-8 degrees in the mountains.  Loved it!

As an aside, this route will be showcased as one of the a long routes you can take if you attend the National Meet in the Middle GTG in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in June of 2017!

Well then, gentlemen...for all you .38 Special fans out there, here's a couple more of this hard rocking group.  They played for 2 hours that night and had the crowd  eating out of the palms of their hands.  These guys are professionals in the truest sense of the word, hard working and they treat their fans well.

I like this one with Barry D at stage right beating out the low end.  He's definitely no slouch on the bass, having played with Yngwie Malmsteen on several of his albums, and he should be a great addition to the lineup and seemed to enjoy the show a lot that night, as did they all.
