What fuel are you using?  Has the bike been tuned at all?  When does this "pinging" occur?  In other words, how about some more detailed information.

pinging occurs on quick acceleration  Using premium gas 91 bike has never been on a dyno  mostly 2up riding .

If nothing else has ever been done to the bike besides the mufflers, the bike really shouldn't "ping" on 91 octane fuel but unfortunately some do.  It looks like you may need to get it tuned by a competent tuner.  I was thrown off by your first post asking if a particular AFR would solve the problem, since you would have needed a tuning device to make any changes to fuel delivery.  And the engine runs at various air fuel ratio's depending on speed and load, so you don't just set the AFR at one number anyway.  And of course don't forget ignition timing.  It's not just about fuel delivery.
