Hey guys don't get lathered up. In spite of what some of my posts along the way might lead one to believe, I try to vote for the person and not the party. IMHO here's the scenario for 2008. The Dems do not have a strong candidate with the ability to cut across party lines. Barak might seem to be their saviour to some, but I've talked to some pretty liberal folks out here in Cal who can't get by his name. Yes I know that might seem less than intelligent, but lets face it when we're in the voting booth we vote to our gut and the gut reaction to a guy who's name echo's our #1 enemy is bad. On the Republican side, McCain is pandering to the right and is going to lose his liberal Republican and moderate Democratic support. The rest of the field is beginning to look like a televangelists convention, so it would appear at the 11th hour we'll see Rudy Guiliani ride in to save the day. He could certainly carry at least 30% of the democratic vote, better than %45 of the republican and 100% of the undecideds. Hilliary will be seen as the bane of the Democratic party and relegated to the ash heap of history once the dust settles on all of this.
