New CVO Owner Iowa

Just bought a 2014 Ultra Limited CVO. Absolutely love it. Looking forward to participating in the board.

First question..............My automatic locks will only lock and not unlock. They were working and suddenly quit.
They lock from FOB and from accessory panel. They only unlock with the key. Is there a sequence or trick to it?
If not there is 14 months left on the factory warranty, do you just roll into a dealer and say fix it?
Bought the bike from a dealership 8 hours away, hope this isn't an issue.

Congratulations you’ve found the best HD forum on the interweb; welcome to the site!

No doubt you’ll find all kinds of useful information on the site, but be sure to take a look at the events section where all our GTG’s are posted (for newbies out there, GTG = Get Together).

As many have found out, attending a GTG is the best way to get to know the members and put a face to those screen names you’ll see. Many a lasting friendship has come out of these GTG's.

So, if you want to meet people, ride some awesome roads, kick back and have fun, come to one or all of the GTG's. In the immortal words of Mikeytee, stop pondering, get a hankering, and make your reservation to attend.

Hey Bmike, glad to have you with us!
As far as your locks go, there is no sequence or trick.  Just lock and unlock, like a car remote.
You don't have to take it to the dealer where you bought it.  Any dealer should honor the warranty, and if you're 8 hours from that one dealer, it wouldn't hurt to start a relationship with a closer dealer anyway.
In the meantime, hopefully someone here will chime in with more intel than I offered!
