Batwing vs. Shark Nose... Not what you think.
« on: September 25, 2015, 09:33:10 AM »

We know everyone has their preference on either a Batwing or Shark Nose fairing, and we have seen the votes for both over the years.

We also know that sometimes you like the colour of a Road Glide, but prefer a Batwing fairing or vise versa.

So I thought it would be interesting to see who has swapped out their fairing to have the colour AND fairing they desire, making their ride extremely unique.

Please show us your CVO Road Glide with a painted-to-match Batwing fairing or your CVO Ultra/Limited with your painted-to-match Shark Nose fairing.

Again, I realize they are unique so we won't have many members who have done this, but we do have some.

Looking forward to your posts of your custom rides!  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks!

I remember seeing here an '09 SERG silver that was converted to a batwing.  It looked nice in the silver CVO color, but to me it was just a Street Glide at that point.

Dan you say "just" a Street Glide like that's something less than.  :P

One southern gentleman (well he's something like that) thinks Street Glides are "Chick Bikes"  However a "Chick" reminded him she rides a Road Glide just like he does....well perhaps a bit faster!  :'(

Ahhhh... Ok. I'm sure it has some special purpose... MoCo must have Phil under a gag order (since he ain't saying what it is for) while they patent it and start selling it. ;) :D :D

I don't think a gag order would work with TN!  Yes it is a part to replace something you should get when you buy the bike, is poor quality and overpriced, so I expect it will appear in the P&A catalog

Tru dat!!! Phil and I have that in common... don't ask us what we think unless you really want to know. :D :D

BTW Phil... I still do ride... not as much... not as long as I have in the past ("father time" does that to me/us ;))... but I'm still "good once" as I've ever been. :D :D

Now back to what this thread is about...
