You know, I carry a camera everywhere I go now on the bike, but stopping to take pics gets to be a little old sometimes and it never seems to tell the tale or capture the mood of the ride.
I'm not sure any camera, still or movie, can capture the feeling of a ride and the sights we take in while driving, but I've given a lot of thought to these HD movie cameras, especially where you could activate it remotely or wirelessly.
I have a small 1080 video recorder, but it's nowhere near the quality of a Go Pro or something along those lines.
Garmin's done a good job with this website, very comprehensive.  And I couldn't believe the "X" model was only $299.  I need to research this thing.  I really like the way it will imprint data over the video, like speed or acceleration or roll/pitch.  That's amazing to me, and seems to put this unit above the Go Pro for additional versatility.
Good find!

That's pretty amazing video, I may have to put this on my Christmas wish list.

By then they'll have a new camera out that'll make this one obsolete.  :P

Da* it .... Now I might nave to replace my JVC Addixion.. The Data overlay is definitely cool, imagine the camera telling you your actual lean angles in a curve, your acceleration/deceleration rates.

But then I may not want that on any videos...It would let everyone know how slow I actually ride

Loved the video.  And hated the video.  Reminds you of all the fun stuff you used to do or at least do more often when you were stupider and younger.  Geez, I grew up somewhere along the way and think I even missed when it happened.
