Just go Fullsac
« on: September 26, 2015, 01:11:54 PM »

So having decided to go Fullsac on my new CVO Road Glide my wife suggested riding to Az and get it done. I already had running dialog going with Fullsac so I asked about recommended tuners in the area. "We do it all right here" was the answer I got from Steve along with a detailed breakdown of the parts/service to be performed. I made an appointment thinking going to the source is a good plan. Besides, who doesn't enjoy a good ride.

Upon arrival we discussed my goals and riding habits taking into account that my wife liked the "quiet" over the VH Pro Pipe we had run on 05 Ultra. I went with his suggestion of the 1.750 baffle with the rear section drilled to even tone it down bit more at cruise and eliminate a possible droan noise in her FF helmet. Steve then surprised me with the latest DX Head Pipe with 4 O2 ports that allow both up stream and downstream sampling. This allows the computer to combine the sampling data and create a good foundation for him to massage. He also dials in your speedo and adjust's the cooling fans to come on sooner. Work was completed in about 5 hours and yes you can hang out, ask questions or just observe, Steve and his crew are very accommodating and pleasant.

Baseline #'s 81 Power/94 Torque the finished product .......98/109 at 2400 rpm and pulls strong down range. It's a lot of bang for your buck IMHO.

I thought my bike ran well before but now.......The ride home "WOW" effortlessly cruise at 80 tip in to pass and it hits 3 digit's. No blistering heat on the right side either. Mileage was 38 with cc set at 80. Fullsac is a good reason to come to Az this winter.

Thanks to admin the dyno sheet is below!

Great excuse for an extended get away ride. :2vrolijk_21:

Yep, Steve is a good guy. He earns his money, and you ride away feeling you got your money's worth.  :2vrolijk_21:

I am planning on trying the Fullsac pipes and TTS turner this winter. I wish I could get to AZ and have this done as well so I know it is tuned perfect.

Never had any issues tuning with a fullsac pipe.  What issues are you having?  Not using CFR slipons are you?

+2 On Fullsac

Fullsac with V and H 450's SE tuner.

100.67 HP and 114.38 Torque.

Runs strong, naturally there is still some heat.

I think a tune will reduce the heat but certainly not eliminate it.

Bottom line is the bike runs good.

I'm thinking of running a Fullsac DX with my Screaming Eagle Street Cannons. Anyone else running this combo? Just wondering about the sound?
