Aftermarket King Tour Pack
« on: September 28, 2015, 12:08:39 AM »

Looking at adding a King Tour to the 09 to replace the chopped and was wondering if anyone has used or has any experience good or bad with the aftermarket companys. There seems to be a couple different companies that are reproducing the ABS tourpacks.

I was going to do the same, but all the feedback I received was that they are not as sturdy as the original versions. Apparently the plastic isn't as strong. I bought a used one off of Ebay and had Joe @ Xtreme Dimension paint it. Good luck.  :2vrolijk_21:

I love my Swinebox. I had it packed to the gills for 5900 miles this August with no problems.

I have one with spoiler and luggage rack from a 2012 SG Hot Citrus / And Gun Stock if you like to make an offer.

i had an after market TP it worked ok, paid $300. w/back rest.  BUT it was NOT worth painting to match and not as rigid as the OE. i sold it (300) and now have the HD paint matched...so for me lesson learned and didnt loose any money on the deal.  PS it was modeled from the older 1990ish TP FYI

The Fairing Factory stuff is decent. If this isn't a full time TP than they are worth considering.

I ride 2up 90% of the time so it sounds like the factory HD stuff is the way to go. Thank you all for the replies. Guess I better start saving some money. DND, thank you for the offer, let me get back in touch with Joe @ Dimensions and see what it will cost to paint a solid color.
Thanks All
