Stainless Jester Fuel Line
« on: January 22, 2007, 09:53:30 AM »

Has anyone confirmed whether or not the fits the 07 Jester?

I think it should, but want to make sure before getting one.

I also think the would be a nice addition.

Please forgive the picture linking experiment, but I wated to use their own images as links. Works!

Thanks,

Chief

I'm thinking that it has been confirmed that it will fit. If I'm not mistaken I believe it was "sadunbar" (Scott) that has put it on his Jester.

Wow Gary,

It didn't take you long at all to get right back in the saddle. We all missed you during your absence, and are glad to see you back in action.

Take care,

Chief

Oh yeah, thanks for the info too.

Chief,

The tank to throttle body ss line fits fine - I bought the "Dyna" part #, since there is no Electra Glide part #.  I installed it with no problems at all.  When I get  home, I can put up a picture of the line installed.  I cannot speak to the "tank to tank" ss line, although I would be afraid of the fittings. My experience with those type fittings in the past resulted in leakage...  I prefer clamps over nuts and ferrels.

Fuel supply line fits '07 jester just fine.  Unsure about the crossover but don't plan on doing that anyway.

Jeff, if you're ever so inclined the tank fitting cover works perfectly over the top of the SS line.  Some do and some don't, but I thought it looked even better with it than without the fitting cover.

That it does.  And even better with those diamond cut fins.

Seen this fitting from Kuryakyn?  Relatively recent release.  I actually like it better than the one on the red bike that Harley has had available for awhile.  And isntead of this little allen bolts that are a bit of a chore to get to from the inside the rubber bands you see are what holds this one on.  Might occasionally lose a fitting.  But would be a lot easier to get on and off.

I agree. Yours looks great the way it is and better than the Kury. Don, if you're gonna spend OPM than you gotta stand behind it! I saw your bike when you finished it and immediately bought the Dyna SS line and the HD fitting cover. And I like it better! Don't get wishy-washy on us now! ::) Hoist! 8-)

Got one on both Elvis and Los Dragon and neither leak. The one on the Big E has thousands of miles on it. If you put it on right, the fitting tightens against the nipple on the tank.

Did somebody post the Dyna part number for the fuel fitting to thottle body line ?

Saw the Kury getting installed on TV the other day...they're O-rings, so should hold up really well over time, and a snap to put on...I like the look as well.
