I am enjoying my new CVO but for one thing. The stock seat. I understand the heated Hammock seat is probably the most comfortable seat HD has ever made. After trying several seats and still squirming after a long day on the road my question is... Has anyone tried the Summit Seat from Mustang? It is designed for the Rushmore bikes specifically. So far I have tried the stock seat, the HD Road Zepplin, an Ultimate Seat and a 2 piece Mustang Seat. If it works for me the wife isn't happy or the other way around. Just wondering if anyone here has tried the Summit from Mustang. Shipping is killing me.

The Mustang seat is the only thing I miss about my old bike. I love em'. May get one of the custom solo seaters for my RK.

I have a SS Vintage Solo w/driver back rest and matching pillion from my 2009 bike. I'm glad you asked because I've been wanting to check to see if it would fit on the '15 CVO. I just looked it up and the fitment years have moved out to 2015, so I'm good there. Like most others, I liked the Mustang better than the HD seat on the '09 EGC.

But as for your specific question on the Summit, I don't have the answer but maybe someone who has one will chime in. Since they are relatively close to me, I'm thinking of riding over to Mean City Cycles in NC to have the stock seat on the new bike modified.

Someone with a Mustang Summit seat help a brother out!

I've had several Mustang seats on different bikes.  I've always been happy with them.

I actually tried a Mustang Summit Seat and the wife found it to be a little firmer than she likes. So back it went. I ordered the Super Touring one piece Regal. I really need this to be the one. I had a Regal touring seat on my 08 RG that we rode for over 40000 mi before it began to loose some of it's life. This is my 3rd Seat from Mustang for my new RGUCVO. Shipping is not cheap but it better than settling for a seat that just doesn't work for you. It is supposed to be here Tues the 10th. I'll be happy to share the news whatever it is.

I have had multiple Mustang seats,  08 Softail ans now 13 CVO RGC.  Needed a seat the wife would be comfortable with.  Was at the Myrtle Beach Spring Rally, we tried and bought the super touring and the king seat tour pad....they shipped my other seat and pad home n/c.  They were very easy to work with, we are both very pleased with this seat.
