True-track update ?
« on: January 23, 2007, 12:05:07 PM »

I know there was a group buy on True-tracks awhile back. Haven't seen any posts on how they're working out for all of you. I have nothing but praise for the one on Elvis. LD seems ok without it, but does not handle as well as the Big E, so I'll probably get one for LD as well. The intent of this thread is for those of you in that group buy to give the rest of us some feedback, I believe there were several different models covered in the buy. So as Mr. O'Reilly is fond of saying

" How say you ? "

B B, Jerry posted that everything fit fine and that he really liked it. This is in the group buy for the True-Track. I'll let you know what I think, but not before I install it. ;D It's a freakin' frozen tundra now and I'm not sure when I'm getting my bike to my friend's shop now. :-/ I'll be putting that on at the same time as the SPO's an PC. And as you can see, I'm not working on anything in my garage for now! Later ;) Hoist! 8-)

Hoist,
The biggest thing I'm interested in hearing is that they do make a difference on the 07 model baggers. And exactly what the difference in riding experience is.

Does anyone know if previous versions of the True-Track (Electra Glide) will fit the 2007 SEUC??  I have one that I never got around to installing on my SEEG & would like to put on my SEUC.  Thanks.

B B, haven't been able to ride all that much since I installed my a few weeks ago, rain more than cold has kept us down.  But the 200 to 300 miles I have ridden I have not noticed any instability in turns whereas before I could sometimes feel the slightest tendancy to wallow or wander when in a turn at speed.  This is awfully subjective since there is no way to measure other that seat of pants feel but it does feel more stable to me in turns and I don't seem to have to "correct" to get through the turn.
