Left San Diego Tue. morning and rode non stop (except for gas) to Sacramento, 516 miles and arrived in time to be present when my Great Grandson was born Tue. night.

Spent last evening with a couple friends from this forum, Don & Carol.  Don and I rode over to Jim's (Metal Dragon) this morning after breakfast to get a new clutch pack and lifters installed.

Jim jumped on it right away and was buttoning things up a couple hours later when Don noticed my Bushtec trailer hitch looked a little off center.  Upon further inspection we quickly learned that the lower brackets on both side of the bike were broken at the welds.

Got that all welded up and put back on and rode over to Andy's.  Headed back to San Diego first thing in the morning.

On my daughter's mother's side of the family (my exwife) this baby's great, great grandparents are both still alive and in their 90s.  :o
