So, how is the Orlando show going? Any  [smiley=mickey.gif] ideas? (I've always wanted to use that smiley)

I believe it was last year that the show was in Dallas at the Grapevine Gaylord Resort. Reason I know is that I saw Willie G. walking through this huge hotel's convention center surrounded by a posse of supporters.

We actually tried to "walk" into the large salon, but as you could imagine, we were stopped quite quickly. :-[

I did get a chance to sit next to a dealer from the NE part of the US, and had a great conversation about many things Harley.

Do they launch a mid-year catalog out of this meeting?  I always thought this mid year show was more about clothes, accessories and parts and not much at all about what is coming.

I have to hand it to the MoCo.  They are the best at keeping future projects under wraps.  I work in the automotive industry and there is no way we can keep ANYTHING a secret.  I guess that's what you can do when your franchise and brand are so hot, that any chance of "leakage" spells termination. Yes the MoCo will do a Supplement catalog but not a full scale catalog

The MoCo must have all the workers sign a strict confidently release so the workers are tight lipped

====================================================

Ok, I just flew back from Orlando and got a quick walk thru today at Gaylord Palms.......didn't see any new bikes (may be still underwraps?) but some items mentioned last week were direct hits SE Stage 2 -110 kits for the 96 motor, new custom paint sets look real good for the Fat Boy and Dyna. If you like the Bobber look they've got something new for you to ponder.New LED turnsignals also....and lots of new stuff to pump up the Buell line sales.It will all be up shortly on the MOCO site.

Thank you FB. Not much there for touring models. Didn't try the other models yet. I guess there's stuff there if you don't have a CVO! ::) I might consider those saddlebag guards after I switch to the hard bags. ;) Hoist! 8-)

Yeah HB, I picked up a set from a '03 SERK. I'm having them painted to match the '07 B/I SERK paint scheme. I'd rather have the larger locking bags for trips. They mount the same, so I can switch between the two types also! ;) Hoist! 8-)

Gotcha! Well, changing out bags, windshields and accessories is one of the biggest selling points of the RK IMHO.
