How do you disarm the alarm so that I can swap out the battery?

When disconnecting the battery, perform the following steps to prevent the optional siren from sounding.

1. Verify that the fob is present.
2. Turn the ignition switch to IGNITION.
3. Pull the main fuse from its holder.
4. Disconnect the battery.

NOTE: Place the ignition switch in the OFF position before re-installing the main fuse.
