i am JJ and new to this forum... hence posting here for the 1st time! ;D  i am about 1 month in to being the proud owner of my 2012 CVO ultra - Electric Orange/Black Diamond! so far, all i can say is WOW! it is my 1st CVO, and my guess will be moving forward, i will own nothing but CVO's!  8)

my 1st touring bike (2008 Ultra Classic - Vivid black) i only owned for one year and realized it just did not do too much for me - although was a beauty and in mint condition - just lacked any sort of flare - pop - or attitude...

my 1st Harley was a fully custom'd out Night train... she was bad to the bone... and i had won her in a poker game - believe it or not... and the only reason i did sell her was because my wife wanted to get more involved with my hobby/lifestyle and i wanted her to cruise in style & comfort and on nothing but the best. i actually would have kept the Night train if i had a son - as she was a keeper to pass down. we just had identical twin girls 14 months ago.

i have done quite a bit of research on this site prior to and after scooping up my CVO - you guys & girls have so much solid and informative information so i have several things i plan on doing to modify and change up... i do have a few questions from many other members (as i have read many of your specific posts already) but i am not using my 1st post to pick brains.... but stay tuned (literally) as i do have many things i am excited to ask about exhaust, bars, lighting, cams, tuning etc...

so with that being said - i am looking forward to kicking it on here...

Congratulations you’ve found the best HD forum on the interweb; welcome to the site!

No doubt you’ll find all kinds of useful information on the site, but be sure to take a look at the events section where all our GTG’s are posted (for newbies out there, GTG = Get Together).

As many have found out, attending a GTG is the best way to get to know the members and put a face to those screen names you’ll see. Many a lasting friendship has come out of these GTG's.

So, if you want to meet people, ride some awesome roads, kick back and have fun, come to one or all of the GTG's. In the immortal words of Mikeytee, stop pondering, get a hankering, and make your reservation to attend.
