C&C Seat Build
« on: November 11, 2015, 12:50:25 PM »

Figured i'd start my own thread to build on and answer any questions.Well, try to answer them?
Question: Do i need a seat? Not really. The wife complained about the uncomfortable pillion.Too hard.(yes the seat)
So contacted Mean City seats for a gel install.Sorry sir, we don't do the low profile Leather CVO seats.OK,Thanks anyway.
So search was on.Looked at all seats available.None said ''BUY ME''...Except for C&C .Stands for Chuck and Chew.
Website has a large selection. But when you contact them and talk to Chuck he will give you more of a selection pertaining to your needs.
After talking to Chuck with a ton of questions.Swatches were sent, color and material was picked. Then decided on a solo w/backrest.Wife will get stock seat pillion w/gel insert.I will be switching seats when i'm with a passenger. It is rare so stock seat will be fine.
At the stage now of waiting on my shipment of the finished MASTERPIECE.

I couldn't be more stoked with my C&C Solo and Sports Touring w/ backrest!
Caution: sometimes, all the stitching can lead to a wet rear end.

Can't go wrong with C&C seats.

C&C Custom Seats are the only seats I have used on my bikes. I love them and the customer service is the best.  :cherry:

How do the seats sit? Lower and farther back would be good. I've been wanting to try onE of these. I keep waiting to find a nice used one for sale.

WOW! That seat looks awesome.

Thanks.Really impressed with the workmanship. The cutting and placement of the Horn Back Leather inserts is flawless.Looks like a combo gator and snake pattern.I don't care if this seat gives me Back pain and or Hemmroidial Issues?I will adjust cause it looks to dam good.
I'm afraid of theft.I'll be shopping for a anti-theft device other than my 44Mag.
If i can't see the bike? Guess removing it is better than losing it.
The backrest does move you a little forward.Never had backrest.Getting use to the look of one.Nothing but praise having one.
Seat is firm. The pad will break in with the leather. Why have a PLAIN black seat??

Finally got on Scoot before sunset.Couple pictures with natural lite.

Like how the flame from the tank runs in sink toward seat flame.Flows rather nicely
