Not familiar with what you refer to as the (spoiler),  but my 14 S.G. Special,  I added the Air wing Sissy bar and also the Air wing luggage rack.  Got the (light kit) for the Sissy bar and that is all you should need. :nixweiss:

Place for connection for wiring is already there.

If you are talking about the light that attaches to the tour pack luggage rack, they are a waste of money IMO..  Can't see at all in they day and dim at night.  FWIW..

Pretty much what Bob said here. I added the smoked one to my '15 just to "fill in the gap" under the wing part. If you add it, it's one kit only. Make sure you buy the correct one for your bike. The wiring is different from earlier years. Fairly simple job except for trying to get the wires through the grommet in the TP to the plug under/behind the seat.  I ended up drilling another hold in my TP and using a grommet I had laying around for the new hole.

I agree it is almost non-existant in daylight and very dim at night. I bought it on a wim and it is a waste of money. I was able to get the wiring thru the existing hole and did not drill any added holes in my tourpak. Easy-peasy install was the only good thing about it.

I have one on my 09 but only because I got it with a bunch of parts I bought. Simple install plug an play. I agree its not bright and I seriously doubt if anyone pays attention to it especially in the daytime.
