Accessory switch
« on: November 29, 2015, 09:29:28 PM »

I am thinking of installing a Boogie light LED kit over the winter and have a question. On my '11 SESG I was able to buy the acc switch to go in the lower fairing cap and wire that as the on/off switch for the lights.......on the '15 it seems the switches in the cap are a one piece module that is pre-wired (at least that is what it was when I added the passing lamps). Does anyone know if they sell a separate acc switch that fits the new '14 and later Rushmore bikes?

Thanks
Mike

Here's one that mounts next to the existing switch housing, either left or right side, that can hold up to three additional switches.

This one is a dash mounted accessory switch kit:

Thanks Jerry......I was hoping for something in the lower fairing cap. I guess if I went this route I could pre-wire for all 3 switches when I replace the bars. Kinda pissed that HD doesn't sell anything for the empty spaces in the stock location......

Guess I could always buy the remote control for the lights and hide a manual switch under the seat......but who wants to carry another remote?

There is a kit for the dash as well, I was just slow on finding the right link for the one that claims to work with the 2015 CVO Street Glide.
