Found a few problems with my ride
« on: January 26, 2007, 07:29:30 AM »

After 1 month of proud ownership of a 2007 Razor Red SERK, I discovered a few problems. Hopefully a few folks could help me out here.

1. To many people want to stop and admire the bike, which takes away from my ride time.
2. Not enough ride time (see #1)
3. To cold for the wife to ride with me (see #2)
4. My wife wants her own
5. I'm spending way to much time and money on mods (see #1 and #2)

Ride on.. Man I love this bike.

Sounds like minor problems to me...

:(It would be a BAD thing if no one admired your ride! :(
[smiley=pepper.gif]Find the time to ride, not much else is that important! [smiley=pepper.gif]
[smiley=oops.gif]Too Cold!!!  Leave her HOME!!! [smiley=oops.gif]
:oYou can never spend too much money, sounds like you still have some left!  If not, take out a home equity loan..... ;D

Good looking SERK... [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Don't have to send her to school, she has already been to MSF. She already rides her own. She actually has 2 bikes, my "old" 2005 Suzuki Blvd and her 2005 Shadow. I'm running out of room in the garage.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

big iron,

I think you will find most of us here are afflicted with the same problems you have.  Except for those lucky ladies here who already have there own.  I am fortunate, so far my wife is happy with her Sportster, but I have noticed her spending more and more time looking at V-rods.   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

See ya on the road,

Well, that explains it...she wants her own Harley...that's obvious ;)  Sell the rice-burners and get her a hog.  (just pullin your chain bro, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :-?)  I'm lucky, my wife has no desire to have her own ride and is perfectly happy with riding with me, and if it's too cold or hot for her to ride, she's okay if I go out and ride.  Gotta love that woman.  :D  As far as the other problems, I don't see them as a problem.  Just don't stop so much, and you'll be riding more.   BTW, sweet ride. [smiley=bigok.gif]
Cheers [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif],

You can't stop anywhere, anytime, on any CVO bike, where any other people are around, even if they aren't riders, without getting into at least one conversation with somebody who comments on what a purdy bike you have...it comes with the territory, but it's hard to get tired of the compliments.  Most of the time, even the HD riders aren't quite sure what they're lookin' at... 8-)  That's a good problem to have...

Get her the Vrod...find her an 06 SEVROD...she'll love it, and you can sneak off on it from time to time.

Then you'll have to spend twice as much time when you stop, 'cause both of 'em are going to get  :o :o [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
