Beautiful day to test the new shield
« on: December 07, 2015, 07:44:31 PM »

Finally got a nice day to test out my new 9" Freedom Shield. After a quick test with the plastic still on I took it off and went for a nice ride in East Tennessee.  I like the medium tint, you can see through it if you need to, like looking through sunglasses and the clarity is perfect. The 9" is about perfect for me, air right over my helmet. No vibration at highway speeds like I had with my Klockwerks and with the thickness I doubt it will crack at the screw holes. Music quality is drastically improved compared to the stock windsplitter. Next up is a seat that moves me back about an inch and a better cushion.

That's the same windshield I've had for 3 years and like it a lot.  Much more sturdy and better function than a CC windshield I had before.  Cheaper, too!

I am 6' with a 32" inseam sitting on a stock seat. I measured mine to line up the top of the windshield with the tip of my nose.  I can see easily over the top and the air is directed over my helmet.
