Christmas of the 4 families
« on: December 26, 2015, 03:39:01 PM »

It's a tradition each year,
The 4 families all as close of friends as you can get,
We each raised the kids, they help with ours and visa versa
It would not be Christmas in Texas without them

This year started out as usual at the Christmas Eve get together and gift exchange
I was down stairs with a few others when we heard call 911!

Marge one of the mothers of the 4 fathers had passed out and was showing signs of a stroke (75)
EMS came, revived but it was obvious it would require a trip to the hospital

Came to find out Xmas day after EKG's that she had a Anurisous (mis-spelled I'm sure) that was a big futher threat!
If she had not passed out they would of never found out that it was getting ready to blow!

We all made the best together while the host and family escorted Marge to the hospital
Christmas was postponed but we still had our 30 place setting dinner

With "Roast Beast"
29 lb! Standing rib roast!

Marge is coming home today!  ::)

Life begins just outside your comfort zone and you havent lived until you push a full dress harley on a hot day up a grade because your low mile twincam fell apart, and your convinced it's to bitchen to leave it there.           Ugh pardon me but do you have any beer?

Funny how things work out. In September of this past year. My girl friend and I were giving blood at a blood drive she organizes every year. She passes out and wakes up. As they are checking her out she has a massive heart attack. The one they call "the widow maker". 2 stints later and she's fine. An hour later and I would have been at my dad's and she would have been alone. On February 16th we will be married. I'm glad you all were there for Margie and wish her the best.
