Henry...[highlight]Heart of Dixie HD in Pelham (about 5 miles from my house) is running a special on any V&H pipes now...20% off if they install...also, if you get a PCIII, they will do a free dyno tune/run.[/highlight]  They have a brand new dyno and room...supposed to be state of the art.  The Vrod has a stumble from 2.5K to 4K with the SE pipes and the ECM flash...took it in yesterday to get a couple of minor things taken care of and since they did the pipes and K&N back in August, they're going to do the PCIII and dyno on the SEVrod this week...so, I'll know more about how good they are on the dyno by next weekend, I hope.  That dealership seems to be trying to turn the corner in terms of customer appreciation...different attitude from a few months ago.

Terry, any idea how long they'll be doing this?

Thanks bro.  Ain't that the truth though.  OCD is a serious ailment that can only be kept in check by frequent additions of chrome.  I never thought that there could be more to add to a CVO, but there's always room for more chrome.

Sounds like a great deal at the dealership...time to stock up on mods...

Red...I really do like the looks of the Ovals on a bagger, and they look great on your bike.  I like the sound too!!  Rode behind Pap's bike a few months ago and came close then to getting a set.  The RH's are louder, even with the 2 1/4" baffles they come with now, but since we ride with full-face helmets 90% of the time now, the sound is not a big deal, and with the future mods I'm going to do, I'll get more out of the RH's at that time.  Looks-wise, I think either of these pipes are the best on our bikes!!  You guys with the 07's have a better cam, IMO.  Comes in sooner.  This time next year, I'll be there!

Now...I see a big black place that needs to be chrome between your outer primary cover and the cylinders...  You can justify it by saying to yourself that it's easier to keep clean... [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Henry...I'm talking to the parts guy now to see what a total would be for you.  At this point, there's no time line on this deal, but I would bet it will end by March...this is their slow time, but probably the best time for getting stuff done.  I'll get you the details in a few minutes and PM you...

Thanks, Bro.  YOUDAMAN!  Would be nice to kill two birds with one stone.  Once Rider's is done with my paint and new rear tire, I could carry the scoot down to Pelham for the pipes/PCIII.  I REALLY need a new rear tire before getting on a dyno.  I'm just a friggin frog hair from wear bar right now.  Still waiting on a saddlebag lower and side cover.

Henry...they moved, but just up on top of the hill from where they were...maybe a couple of blocks.  Up behind the Cracker Barrel.  One of the huge, new type stores.  They have a new GM that came in the week I bought the Vrod, and he said he was going to make some changes for the better, an it appears he is living up to his word.  The people who are still there have a different attitude, that's for sure.  A couple of new service writters who are a hell of lot more customer oriented...

Only one thing I like better than spending my money, and that's spending someone else's...  Brandon, my one and only parts guy there is going to call me back in a few...you do have to get the A/C as well.  Do you have that yet?  I'll ask him about the "Roll Your Own" option, as that is the way to go...

I already have the SE A/C and a Stage 1 ECM flash........the one from the DT.

I hear ya on the inner primary.  I've never had one of those put on any of my previous rides...but with the CVO, it's kind of a different story.  Maybe if my dealership has a discount on parts and install again, I'll do it.  (They just wrapped up a 15% off parts and installation about two weeks ago.)  But if I do that right now, then I'll want the chrome starter and momma wll probably kick my a$$ out of the house.  She knows I have OCD, and she's keeping an "eye" on me right now.

I also have an 07 Ultra Screamin' Eagle.  I noticed that you put the shorter antennas on yours.  Would you share where you got them, how hard they were to install, and how the reception is with them?
