Overall I am happy with the performance of my bike. I have Vance and Hines High Outputs installed and like most, I did notice a low end hit, but do like that the bike doesn't seem to run out of air at higher RPM compared to the previous exhaust, so I deal with it. The looks and sound also help me cope a little.
Anyways, as a single guy with no kids, I'm looking to blow my tax money on some upgrades. I was looking at getting the Fullsac DX pipe and a Dyno tune using the PowerVision. I plan on doing nothing else as far as headwork, new cams, etc. So I guess my question is, will these two things actually be worth it as far as feeling a difference? I understand the Dyno tune alone is beneficial just for the sake of the bike running better. That at minimum will happen. I don't expect to be doing wheelies, but even if I got a little of the low end back and overall the bike runs better, I would invest in the DX pipes, too. If I follow through, I will be using Sheffer Performance in Evansville, IN. He has solid reputation and seems like a great guy.
I feel silly asking this, but there are a lot of knowledgeable folks here and I just want to make an educated decision before I spend my money. I have people telling me I'll hardly feel the difference if any, and others who swear by it. Some are telling me these "stage I" type of modifications are basically laying the ground work for the mods that will make the difference. Unfortunately I can't find anyone close by with the set-up I'm wanting to try.
Thank you for your patience with a total noob!
