Hey everyone - Making an intro here to the forum. 

Name is Matt and I live in Central New York. 

Just ended up trading my 2014 Amber Whiskey FLHXS (at the dealer for winter storage) for a 2016 White Amythist FLHXSE. 

Previously rode an 04 Ducati Monster S4R, 09 VRSCDX, 12 FLTRX and then the FLHXS.

Perfect timing because now I get to go visit it for three months and not ride it. :nixweiss:

As far as mods, I've ordered a Jackpot header and V&H 450 Titans (chrome with black tips), SE Race tuner (they'll just load in a stage 1 tune) and a few other goodies.  (Heated grips, highway pegs and  :o the matching chopped tour pack. :o)

One thing I absolutely need is a rider backrest.  I've been poking around and it seems like the Grasshopper bracket is a good solution however I can't seem to get them to call me back.  I guess I have some time to hammer that out.

Other hobbies include Ham Radio (as evidenced by the user name) and I'm a pretty active USPSA shooter.  Used to be hot and heavy into 3-Gun but local laws have made it basically impossible to practice and be competitive.


Anyways, thought  I'd say hi and maybe see if anyone had any other info on the rider backrest .

Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina! Congratulations on your new CVO.
As far as rider backrest, I use a Road Ready Backseat bag with a twin size air mattress stuffed inside and adjust the air to suit me, of course this is for traveling, I have a Harley Backrest for shorter rides.

Welcome to the site. I had a Grasshopper on my 13 SERK. It was OK. Wound up going with a Danny Gray with built in rest. Do a search on the site for Grasshopper, pretty good rest....but horrible customer service!!!!
