That seems to be the case I'm running in to.  I've called a few times now.  All I want is assurance I'll get the stainless version without the gussets so I can put my stock passenger pillion back in place. 

I have a pretty bad back (Two herniated disks - lifting injury) and i absolutely can't ride more than a half hour without a back rest.  I also really like the stock seat.

Welcome to the site from Maine Matt! Congrats on the new scoot - sure does make winter appear longer with new bikes and mods ready to get on the road... I gave up a bit too early on my CVO this year - parked the bike and pulled the forks in November due to a seal leak. Fortunately I had a back up for a few short rides before it got too cold.

Turns out I did too!  I store my at the local dealership (Performance HD) and I pulled the plug on Black Friday.  I figured if I rode past Thanksgiving I was doing pretty well. 

Little did I know it would be 70 on Christmas Eve!
