You can buy a Corvette, just don't buy the 7.0L 427 cu in Corvette...   

My father (who passed away about a year ago) was good for a couple new Corvettes a year for about the last 20 years.  He never kept one more than 6 months or so...  Some years he had three in a year.  But he never bought the 7.0 Corvette.  He had a Chevrolet Powertrain factory engineering buddy from our racing days that warned against buying the 7.0 - for the very reasons mentioned in the lawsuit...

Chevrolet should just call that version of the corvette the "Harley Model"; that way customers would understand and quit complaining because they would know it's normal.

GM must have gone to Harley for the Lifers in the LS7 7.0. 

Sure glad GM sourced the lifters for the 14 Stingray LT 1 6.2 liter from some one other than Harley....

My Stingray has zero lifter noise.  My 13 CVO has lifter noise and my 15 CVO has more Lifter noise than my 13.  My 09 CVO had failed lifters.

I have yet to have a lifter fail in a Corvette, and I have owned them for over 29 years now.
