We only got about .25" last night in West GA. A little squall came through this morning and dropped another .5" then the sun came out. Just one or two flakes in Atlanta shuts down the city and everyone raids the grocery and liquor stores, silly actually.

According to some reports, Nashville received 8" - the most since 1966 -

Other reports are saying it was the most in 28 years, with around 6.5"

Depends on where they measure it I suppose.    :nixweiss:    Here at the house we got about 3".

Probably around 16" + and still coming down heavy (3 pm), and is expected to continue well into the night. Still under blizzard warnings. You know it is windy when the the soil stack vents cause ripples in the toilets .

Front and back doors, side patio door and garage doors have 2' of snow piled up against them. Yet for 8' away from the garage my driveway is bare.

I haven't seen snowflake one in Maine so far - hope it stays that way for awhile, but it is on the chilly side... We have no problem sharing with you folks south of us <g>.

I just stuck a ruler in the yard while I was cleaning the truck off. We have just over 16" and it's still coming but not near as fast as it has been.

Didn't measure but this is what it looked like the last time I cleaned sidewalk/driveway off and when I was done you could still see sidewalk/driveway.

Taz

Hey, I sold the snowblower before I moved, gave my old neighbor the supply of ice melt for HIS driveway and gave the neighborhood kids all the sleds and toboggans, so it can't be my fault.

Ok.... I did bring the snow tires for the cars and maybe a snow shovel.... just in case
