Hi. I have recently joined the forum as I am planning to purchase my first Harley in the next month or so. No big rush as I am in Michigan. I would love to get a carbon Cvo street glide and am trying to fully understand all the differences/advantages over the SGS. My question is whether the CVO has the same front suspension as the SGS, or if it in fact has an upgrade to the "HD Premium Single cartridge" or "HD Premium Double Cartridge" suspension. Thanks for any feedback!

According to the parts catalog, both bikes have the same damper units and the same springs. The sliders are different, and the complete fork assembly numbers are different. It looks like the differences are more along the line of appearance, not actual performance, as best I can tell. Chrome versus clear coated aluminum sliders for instance.

They are in fact the same internals SGS vs CVO.
