What time at knockum's?

Noonish!  I need to call Oscar and Sara on Friday to see if they're gonna be open.  I've made the trip before and they were closed.  Now that really sucks when you ride 170 miles to eat good BBQ and Burgoo, and then you have to settle for the Flying J.

Hey Miker. Where is that C-5A sitting? I worked on 'em for 6 years at Travis AFB. I loved that cargo jet. Alledged to be able to fly on one engine in an emergency, the kneeling functions, nose/tail opening for loading, cross wind computer for landing. Okay, okay- I'll stop.

I don't like to bust in here, but having never served, I just want to make sure you all know how appreciative I am that there are men and women like you all, putting themselves out there everyday to defend my freedom and this great country of ours! I just had to say that and now I'll go back to enjoying all your posts about this. You are all so proud about your participation in the Service. I just want to let you know how proud I am to be associated with each of you! From the bottom of my heart, Thank You! Hoist! 8-)

There have been many pages of posts here since I said this in Jan. But I can't say it enough, so I wanted to bring it up again for those who have responded since I first posted. Thank you all once again for your service to our great nation. Admiration, appreciation and gratitude are my sentiments to all of you brave men and women who help protect and preserve my freedom. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. And may all of you be safe and return to your families and bikes ASAP!!! :2vrolijk_21:

Hell if I know, it came off some website.  I didn't mind the work on them, could crack the nacelles alone but changing light bulbs got pretty monotonus...I was at Travis from 79-83 TN#68-219. We used call them "fred" for "f#@&ing ridiculous economic disasters".

Hey Karl.......you have a PM.  Big time turd floater here right now, so my departure is delayed at best, cancelled at worst.  Knockum Hill closes at 1430 today, so if I can get on the road, I'll head straight there.  I'll make the final call before 10am.  If I'm not on the road before then, I'll PM you again.  Might have to postpone until tomorrow or next weekend.

Seeg,

Have a safe trip off the island. I'm sure things won't change there too much once you are gone, but I'll give you updates once I arrive this fall.   :D  Just can't wait to get there.
