I have air ride on my nanner, and I believe that while it has some benefits, that you lose some ride comfort. I think that you lose the dampening effect of a coil over shock system and that the air bags make it more like riding an inflatable rubber ball. It is nice to be able to change the pressure on the fly with my onboard compressor, however I think the only reason that I normally have to do that is due to leakage. ( I rarely ride 2 up ) It is a real nice plus for trailering though, since I have made blocks 2 feet long and 3 layers thick of 2X6 and I set that under my bike and let the air out, she sits solidly on the blocks. Tie her down on the corners and trailer away with never a worry. One thing though, I should have replaced the air temperature gage a long time ago for an air pressure gage that would read the pressure in my shocks....just never got motivated enough
