Mine came with an owners manual, bike cover, gold key in a silly box and an Ipod for the stereo. Also the factory later mailed me a custom engraved plaque to hang on the wall. Haven't used the cover, don't really need the gold key, the plaque is still in the box..... I use the crap out of is the Ipod and the owners manual because I can never remember the corect tire pressures cause I'm getting old.

If yours is the same as the standard Limited, and it doesn't say FLHTKSE on the cover, then your dealer gave you the wrong owners manual.  The part number for the correct manual is 99473-16.

I think that was the point CVODON was trying to make.  We see questions around here pretty much every day about simple things that are explained in the manuals.  I'm not sure why it is, but a large and growing segment of the population seems to be totally averse to reading manuals for anything they buy.  I'm married to one such person btw.

I read my 07 CVO manual from cover to cover.  This one I just now pulled out.  Thanks to you guys. 

I still think it's a darn shame that HD has decided that not including the jeweled key with the CVO is a good idea.   They gotta make the extra buck I guess.

   That's a great idea.  I've got four of them.  It might be a bit heavy but what the heck.

Oh, My only saving grace is that I just got my 2016 this past Saturday.  But this makes #4 CVO Ultra for me.  So I'm guilty as charged.

You can also go to the Harley Davidson web site, click on the owners tab, and go to the section titled maintenance manuals.  Get set up with a log in, and then you'll be able to log on and view any owners manual you want (later years only though).

I only bought one of my CVOs used. In 2009 I bought a 2007 that had only 327 miles on it.  I was lucky the guy had EVERYTHING that came with the bike and he also included a shorty windshield.  The saddlebag inserts aren't used much but I get a lot of use out of the tour pak bag.  When on a long trip I pack the bag, it fits snug in the tour pak and then just carry it into the hotel.  Since they kept the owners manual I have to assume they kept almost all the extras including the jeweled key.  What a shame.

I have bought three used, only on the last one did I get the key, an owner's manual, some luggage and other stuff.  Still got them all though.
