« on: February 27, 2016, 04:32:22 PM »

Looking to add sound system to my 14 cvork I plan on running tunes off my phone what's the best and loudest add on speakers...I have hearing issues so loud clear is a must...my wife has HD speakers on her deluxe and those just don't cut it at cruising speeds?

Hopefully others here can assist with the hardware appropriate to your RK. As an audiophile I can say that (ironically), the least critical link in a sound system would be the speaker itself. Most important would be having an amplifier which can provide enough power to avoid the clipping which can easily destroy a speaker.

Very true I had the biker tonics complete system in my 06 SG wasn't crazy loud but crystal clear..the OEM stereo with upgraded hog tunes was louder but not as clear...I have very little high pitch hearing left to many miles on the bikes and I work for a firearms manufacturer so plenty of shooting and yes I always where ear protection shooting but have put thousands of miles on the bike before I started wearing ear plugs
