Old CVO Owner from Indiana

I'm old but new here.  My first CVO was a 2007 Ultra - The first year of the 110 motor.  I then went on to trade it for a 2011, I traded the 2011 for a 2014 and just recently traded the 2014 for a 2016.   Over the years I've collected a few gold keys and with the 2014 I got a really cool USB flash drive in a jeweled case with the Willie G Skull on it.  But this time I got nothing.  I'm becoming more and more disappointed with HD.  It seems every model year they remove this or that and in turn raise the price.  I can see that they would increase the price if they were adding more but raising the price when they are taking stuff away makes no sense to me.  My salesman said "Sorry Harley can't afford that anymore".   I said "No, I guess not.  Since they're only selling the bikes for $41,000."  This may very well be my last CVO.  I thought the gold key was very nostalgic and unique. I don't know of any other bike that comes with a jeweled cased gold key.  Now HD has dropped that too.

Congrats on the new bike . What model did you get?  Any pictures yet to post up here?
My 15 ultra came with the cover, bag and trunk travel bags, gold key and a full tank of gas.
I didn't know the 16 was $41,000, bought it in Sept, glad i didn't wait.

Since your bike don't have a sound system I can understand why no USB.  The Limited has a UBS plug inside the dash.  I just thought at that time they were replacing the gold key with the USB.

Welcome to the forum from Maine CVO_Herbie! My model changes mimicked your  progression to a degree but all were standard models until I purchased the CUSE8. Yes on my image - taken on the dragon - this was last September at the MV GTG. I do a lot of photography but haven't figured out doing a selfie while riding yet - LOL...
