End caps

What is the difference between a CVO end cap and the S/E 4" end caps? Has anyone "made" them fit?

It appears to be a "male vs female" fit difference. As I recall, the CVO muffler has three holes at its female end (attached photo) for flush head SS bolts to secure the male 4" end caps. The S/E 4" end caps in the catalog ("Does not fit 4" CVO Touring mufflers") appear to be the opposite gender fit ....i.e. female ....and appear to have a different attachment method. Hope that helps.
