Hot little Road King
« on: March 16, 2016, 10:03:06 AM »

Its not a CVO  :(     but the numbers on this little 107 are just so nice, I thought I would share it  Build is our 107 cnc heads 1.9/1.610 600 cam HPI 58 and  a rush Wrath pipe Comp ratio is 10.9 Bike is a RK and the guy is 99% solo rider so tq was not the main goal .  Overall the tq curve is very decent and flat pulls out well .. BTW that is a 5th gear pull SE tuner shutting me down 5400 in 6th :behead: .. 6th gear tq was 126 almost 127   if I had to guess on HP I think that it would gain 1-3 call it 2 .

Nice build Steve. Whats your thoughts on the Rush Wrath? Is it as ungodly loud as the D&D?

Yes it is a loud pipe like the zilla.. Different though as the zilla is a perf baffle where as the rush has a louvered. But understand some really like that sound and its still VERY popular today.   Myself I like quite and that is why I run the crusher mellow mufflers If I could reduced sound further with zero loss of power I would ..  " walk softly carry a big sitck "   I do shock many other riders when they think my bike is nothing as its not loud.. Always proud of the wife as she is soooo courteous  to give a wave on the way by   :D :D

Thank you Steve. Sure sounds like the Crushers are going to be the way I end up going

Steve how much difference do you see a difference in performance between the Crusher Mellows and the regular Crusher?

That looks a lot like the 107" build's final outcome when I did my 05 using Mackie's 598 cam and some good headwork and a 50mm TB.  Nice looking build  :2vrolijk_21: .

There isn't even a TQ curve hardly to speak of, the thing just wants to take off. That has GOT to be a fun bike!  8)

Nice build Steve! Somebody's gonna have a fun ride.  :2vrolijk_21:

Since you're making this kind of power with a 107, I may need to raise my expectations! :nixweiss:
