    Did you go with the Zippers kit or just the Dave Mackie upgrade............much faster.  I kinda lost interest there for a while (being the impatient SOB that I am).  Thanks for the go fast........and don't worry about BB,  he's old and he resists change........he'll get over it.

B B, I don't know man.  Out of all the new functions and buttons I was afraid to push that one.  Probably hooked up to JC's whoopee cushion to make sure of immediate response!

Oh, Brian, you're gonna love this.  Look up at the top and find "Show unread posts since last visit."  It shows new posts in all topics, AND ONLY NEW POSTS.  No more wading through every section looking for topics that have new posts.  Just click that option and the new post fairy will give them to you to sort through to your heart's content.  Not limited by last 40.  Not limited by section.  Just one screen full of nothing but savory nutritionally balanced new posts.

Love it!  Love it!  Love it!  Thanks so much Neal, after I figured out how to log on, and got a avatar back on, I am loving this new site.  Well Done!

I clicked on it. Told me I couldn't report my own post to the moderators- that doesn't make sense  Yea Ha big brother hits the CVO website. Wanna take bets who gets reported the most ?  Wonder how many reports you're allowed before you're on quadrouple secret probation .

        First thing I noticed is there's an added step to SAVE a copy of a PM you send to someone. Next, back here I noticed there's no longer a specific color for highlighting something, but you can bracket it and change the color ( I think)  Beagle may be the one with the dog name, but I'm the old dog where this chit is concerned. I think Neal is trying to bring some of us kicking a screaming into 2007.

        First thing I noticed is there's an added step to SAVE a copy of a PM you send to someone. Next, back here I noticed there's no longer a specific color for highlighting something, but you can bracket it and change the color ( I think)  Beagle may be the one with the dog name, but I'm the old dog where this chit is concerned. I think Neal is trying to bring some of us kicking a screaming into 2007.

You can go in your profile/Personal Messages Options and put a check in the box that says "Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default."

No more highlighting you can change text color only.

The thumbs up emoticon is on the "[more]" smileys page.

What was the thought behind adding this to the site ?  I would expect that it is something that was discussed among the Mods and Neal before being added. Do we have a problem with threads and posts that cause strife so often that this is really needed ? I was going to PM you or phone you on this, but I remembered you telling me that if I have an issue with the site I should discuss it in open forum.

It's included w/the software. Nothing that was added by us (Mods/Administrator) it's just a feature that comes with this Board software.

B, this is a function that is standard on most forum software packages. i have seen some joking about it already today. but the intent is to allow anyone to raise a flag to the moderators instaed of the moderators having to proactivly read every post

         Thanks for the explanation and no leave the thumbs up guy in out in the boondocks. Drives Beagle nuts because it's the most used emoticon on the site. Lot of times a post will be nothing more than a quote and the thumbs up guy. This way some folks might actually have to say something  By the way, THANK YOU for the hard work you've put into this. Sorry if my first couple posts on the subject seemed critical. From what I've seen so far this new format is super.
