aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's how they get you.. sorry about the back.

Gorgeous though. Out of all the modern designs, aside from vintage knuckles, for me the heritage just screams Harley.

Sorry about the back, Pete.  While it may be sore today, that might have saved you some £s over the long run.... :2vrolijk_21:

Cheers Mate,

Once I'm good and mobile again I've got to ride that Heritage, it just has to be done. There will be no buying on my part, I like my happy home just fine!! :P ;D

You guys are right about test rides. When in Vegas a couple of friends and I rented bikes. One of my friends made the reservations. He asked what I wanted to ride and I told him a Limited 2015 or older. I wasn't taking any chances on falling in love with a rg.

Owning a tourer is one thing the benefit of a riders backrest is another good reason .

I would love to have the knucklehead.  My wife's mother and father got married in St Ignace Michigan in the very early 50's.  They road his 1947 knucklehead there from Dayton, Ohio and then on to Pikes Peak.  Have seen photos, but the bike after his kids were born sat in the back yard up against a fence with a tarp on it I am told.  Somewhere in the early 60"s it was sold.  Have tried to find it but no luck.  One side of the tank said Hot Dog and the other side said Bee.

Last trace I put on it the owner had passed away in 1977 and bike was gone.

Thanks for the great pictures.

To day is the first day I can move with out looking for a walker :P had 4 days of  agony. To day is much better what a relief.
Against all you guys concerns and warnings,....which I will be heeding too. But I just can't pass up ridging that 2016 Heritage Classic, so I have rebooked the test ride for this coming Wednesday. The bike has been on my mind for the better part of a year. The ride will get it out of my system  ::) if not can always rent for a few days ;D I'll post some pics on the day.

Got this on an e mail from Harley,.. BTW, I got away with out buying ;D

Thanks for taking a test-ride on one of the world’s most iconic touring motorcycles. All bikes give you the wind in your face, but none gives you a tingle down your spine like a Harley-Davidson®.

We hope you felt the freedom and enjoyed the riding experience that comes from over 110 years of touring heritage
