Wild ones WO578 10" bars questions
« on: April 22, 2016, 08:51:03 AM »

I just purchased a new set of WO578 bars for my 2014 CVO limited. I was told that on the heated grip side I will need to cut 3/8" off the bar is this correct? Do the connectors for the hand controls fit through the bars? I believe I have to take apart the TBW connector to get it through the bars. Do the clutch and brake cables need changed? Any help would be appreciated.

Just did those on a '15 CVO Street glide. Everything fits through the bars except the bottom of the TBW harness. Unplug at the sensor and feed the harness up the bars then plug the TBW sensor in and then pull the harness out the bottom. I ordered NAMZ wire extensions, but the clutch and brake lines will work. And yes...cut 1/2" off the end of the left side for the heated grip.

I had mine put by dealer during 1000 mile service.  Stock brake and clutch lines fit fine, same for internal wiring.  It is criminal that these bars are not stock on CVO's.

Thanks for the pics, looks great! Any splicing or cutting required and when can you pop by OKC to help me install mine. I think I like these better, was originally looking at the Yaffe bars.

No splicing or cutting...NAMZ wire extensions are all plug and play for the switches. It's not difficult....there is a youtube video on it also.

Sure I can help..it's only 1500 miles from me...If I leave now...... :huepfenlol2:
