Need help with tire sizes please,...
« on: April 28, 2016, 10:32:14 AM »

Looking to put on a Michelin Commander II on the front of my '06 CVO Ultra.

The stock one is a Dunlop MT90B-1672H. What does that translate to in Michelin speak?

Looking at Revzilla for prices, if anyone knows a better place to shop please let me know.

Thanks!

I either use Revzilla or Motorcycle Super Store Customer service 877-668-6872.  Both have free shipping and lowest price guarantee.  I will add that I would definitely contact each manufacture directly to get the exact recommendations for available tires especially the load rating.  The reason I say this is I have tried to cross reference tires for my 08 SERK and have been given faulty information from both places.  Once you find the size you need to know the weight specifications for your bike & style of riding.  I was given a tire that fits but was down 250 pounds of load rating.  I wish I could help you more as this has been a hot topic on this site as of late.

Good Luck

Hi Mark.  Can't speak for Jerry (grc) but I have found Revzilla to consistently have the lowest prices with J&P not far behind.

Good suggestion Ray. I went onto the Michelin website and did a search for fitment for my bike and up came the Commander II. And Revzilla carries it at $106!
