Rear signal lights for CVO Limited
« on: April 29, 2016, 11:03:58 AM »

Just wondering if anyone has removed the filler strips and installed the "new" elongated signal/brake lights in the chrome bracket on their 2016 CVO Limited.

If so, could you please post a picture.

Thanks!
Grizzly

PS - I've noticed that the 16's are the first year of no light bar for rear signals.  Just another way of spending more $$$, I guess.  :nixweiss:

At first I thought "Why would one want to put those on a CVO?"  Then I saw the postscript and then I became sad.

Yeah, why add a light bar when we can sell them these fugly things we made for non-CVO dressers?  //sarcasm//

Have you looked at the Custom Dynamics Plasma Rods?  Allows one to keep color-matched gap filler and have (IMO) much more elegant and attractive solution for extra signal/brakes.

I have seen it done, but not a fan of the look.

I agree on the first year of the no light bar for rear bullet signals like my 15 has.  Suck's for those of use who run a quick detach tour pack.  Glad I have the 15 SERGU

That's a very good point... Now converting a CVO Limited to a quick release TP just cost '16 owners more.

This would most likely be the choice fix for many,

but personally I like the more subtle look of these

Then again as suggested above, the Plasma Rods would be a nice touch as well.   :2vrolijk_21:
