New Guy, thinking of buying a 15 RGU CVO
« on: May 19, 2016, 09:36:16 PM »

Hello everyone,

My name is Jim and I am looking at buying a low mileage (around 500) 2015 RGU CVO and I wanted to know what issues are people currently having with these bikes. This is my first Showerhead and the factory warranty expires in 4 months, so far that is the only drawback I see. The bike is at a non Harley dealer so I am unsure if the extended warranty will cover much. It comes complete with all the factory  doodads like liners, headphones, gold key and garage door opener. Also has a complete Rienheart  exhaust system. I am trying to talk them down a little and hoping to pick it up around $31,500. So what do you guys think? Good deal? Anything to be worried about?

You can buy the bike at a non Harley dealership and still buy the extended warranty at a Harley dealership.....before the factory warranty runs out.

Welcome from Stockbridge, GA.  If you like the bike, go for it and buy the extended warranty at a Harley dealer near you.

If that's what you're seeking the deal sounds decent compared to the new cost. Do some research on the ESP - Extended Service Plan, to learn if it will work for you. It's not exactly a extended warranty, but does provide a 'comfort level'. I bought this for my '13 Ultra Classic and haven't used it except to replace a wheel bearing, which only saved me $20...
