110 tuning results
« on: May 21, 2016, 09:10:23 AM »

Made the 3hr ride to Pocono HD to have Dave Stoddard tune my 110. Can't say enough on how this bike performs. A small jump in the #'s (+3 ) was ok. The smoothness, mileage, and overall rideability is vastly improved. He took the time to explain where and how he made the improvments, with-out bashing the previous tuner. Bike is 110 stock heads, fullsac D, Andrews 48. 114 tq - 99 hp SAE, 117 tq - 101 STD. Breaks 100# @ 2300 carries it to 5200. HP breaks and carries 98 @ 5200 to 5600. Tq over 110 from 2700 - 3900. This cam does everthing I was hoping for in a simple bolt in. All these #'s are SAE, STD are higher. The previous #'s I had for the 255 cam was 92/113, but I questiond his dyno a bit ??? curves were strange, peak tq @ 2800 and dropped like a rock. I'm glad I took the ride to PA. it was well worth it.

You have to call for an appointment. They told me to plan on 5-6 hrs, mine took about 4. Will post if I can figure out how to(get the wifey). Thats why I gave a detailed post. :). Screamin Eagle tuner. He does prefer TTS.

I use Dave as well. 400 mike trip for me. Graeat guy and great tuner. As far as his schedule, he is very popular. My appt was April 20th and I called to see if I could push the appt back a couple weeks, but was told his next available appt was June 20th.

I also feel he is a more conservative tuner that favors rideability over every last peak hp/tq, which works for me.
