No tuner needed if you just do mufflers. I listened to and then had the HD "non-tunable" mufflers installed on my 2016 Streetglide before I left the dealer. IMO, some of the best sounding I have ever had, especially with the bike all stock. Bike performs well at this point.

x2 on fullsac!!!! i have the 2'' cores sounds good without too much noise and performs great!!!! you can always change the core to bigger or smaller down the road too and very affordable. the larger the core the more noise but also loose your torque. plus we get a discount for being forum members....

I also did the fulsac header and large baffles with TTS master tune, have 35,000 miles on them and I'm still happy with the bike!

Fullsac. I went with 1.75" . Not too loud but, sounds good. No tuner is needed until you change the header.

I'm #6 recommending the Fullsac.  Do a search on this forum.  I went with the 1.75 baffles.  They are definately not quiet but they're not obnoxiously loud like the larger baffles.  I can still hear the stereo at freeway speeds.  Give Steve & Cammy a call....you'll not be sorry.  :2vrolijk_21:

The 2" baffles were good for me until I removed the converter and installed the headpipe now I need the  smaller baffle as it's too loud for me.

If you're #6, I'll go ahead and be #7.

I'm also using the Fullsac headpipe and 1.75" baffles and am very happy with them.

Chalk up another vote from a satisfied fullsac customer. Best bang for the buck if you don't mind doing some light wrenching. Took me about 4 hours total to do the headers and cans and that includes a 6 pack. 🍻

Welcome to the forum. You are from my home town. As the guys said, if you were to just do mufflers, you shouldn't need to make any tuning adjustments if you are leaving your stock catted headpipe on.

Which mufflers are you leaning towards? What kind of sound do you like? Which dealer did you buy from?

That's what I have on mine, you will like them, and the install is easy. Did you order the screens also, they are a big help and keep the packing out against the cans. There are a couple good videos showing the install procedure.
