Does anyone have a 15 or 16 CVO Street Glide that doesn't have audio issues?

The only issue I have had was a bent pin in the rear amp connector causing the fade option to disappear.

I'm convinced this is a heat issue. Tonight in the cold my radio ripped and sounded great. I did also pull the shield off the amp to let it get air plus pulled my stuff away from the bag speaker and used the USB for my phone instead of blue tooth. It seems like it really acts up when it's hot out. I'm going to leave the cover off the amp and see what happens.

well mine (march 2016) doesn´t have any - only thing is, the software upload doesn´t start. MoCo recommends a bigger than 8GB USB stick, so I took a 32GB one - no reaction?!

I could not believe how cheap and crappy the Harley speakers are. . Think about it. . You are riding constantly with them cranked way up with a garbage amp.  Full of distortion. . No way it's going to last. . Really...  How could it. When you're about in the open.. You need clean sound. . More clean than even loud. . . I hate to say it. . It's never going to change while you keep replacing junk with more junk. .  Or you can do what I did did.  Replace it for quality components. . Unless you like going through this all the time. . .  Stuart

Hey Stuart, you replaced the amp and speakers but left the head unit.  Any issues with the handlebar controls, ipod control or the amp/head interface?

The only thing that doesn't work is the front to rear fade. . That's it. . It's centered.  And for some reason.... He did explain. . It's a digital something. .  That doesn't work.  Other than that every things works the same. . .  It's not a big deal for me...  I kept it Centered anyway. .  Stuart.

My navigation screen turned black when I zoomed out to maximum zoom using the right hand button on bars.   All other screens were ok apart from the navigation screen. I stopped. Turned off bike then restArted. Screen came back and working good since. Also get s confusion on the directions on nav mode if a waypoint is manually ignored. The route track is correctly displayed but the instructions on the bottom of screen don't function. I fixed by going out of navi screen then coming back into the screen.

So Laconia HD just looked at my system and said it was a software update that was needed for the amps and head unit supposedly it's good to go now. I will update when I pick it up and try it out😄 Not feeling confident but we will see I guess. They said no speakers where blown and all systems checked out. It was a specific channel not working right in the amp that's why it only sounded bad on some songs

Update, it sounds great everything is playing nice now but 1 song with a lot of base still sounds broke up. New issue, my phone will only work via blue tooth now, the plug and play option is not working. I initially thought it was due to HD's update but now I am thinking its Apple's latest update. My phone updated between when I dropped my bike off and when I picked it up. So I'm not really sure at this point. I'm hoping it's an Apple problem and not HD's new software update. Maybe I just need to stop using my music and ride LOL. Bike is awesome other then infotainment.

Update, after 2 more left rear speakers blew it was determined to be a bad rear AMP. So far so good:)

2015 SG here, right rear speaker blew on the way home, just like others 3-4 trips to the dealer and I was finally told problem with the harness/connector, so there seems to be a batch of bad harness's out there. beginning to smell like a class action law suit.

Still doesn't seem quite right 4 bars from max rear speakers are making a noise like there blowing. So far 5 speakers and one AMP. If I okay anything with a lot of bass it distorts in the rear speakers after about half volume. My bass is set in the middle and my phone is set to normal bass. It sounds better with the new amp but the speakers just don't seem to handle the power well. I'm considering lower fairing speakers to get the volume and power at the lower volume setting.
