IMO
You would be better off redoing your 110 heads. By doing so you would get better valve guides, better tolerances, your combustion chambers would be cc'd. You would also get a lot better springs.

And you would be better off than that, if you worked a set of 103 (ACR) Heads.  Just sayin.......Later--HUBBARD

Yup, I have em, and wish I would have went a different direction. Not that they're awful, just
better options out there, as previously mentioned.

The one positive with them is you buy them outright, so still have the stockers there to put back on when it's time to sell the bike.

The special is triple points for Memorial Day at my local shop. If I buy the heads, I get 4200 points which means a $500 coupon to be spent only at the shop. So the labor would be covered if I choose to use the coupon, which I would. Bottom line: I get the heads installed free. I'm tempted because I hate the down-time for having the heads removed and sent out. I have until Monday to make up my mind. If I go with the MVA heads it's all done at my shop with minimal down time....but the MVA heads only come in black, so I really don't know what to do. Sorry I can't offer the "deal" to y'all. Wish I could.

Looks like the ones on Ebay are early 07 takeoffs as they have the original silver 110 badges that the MOCO eventually swapped out for black ones to hide the heat soaked silver ones that would turn gold from the heat. So that means you would want to change out the guides seals and springs for better parts.

I had a set of MVA heads on my '08 big bore 103" Complete waste of money. I bought those at the time because of the ACR's. Performance wise it was a wash. The before and after dyno#s were within 1/2 hp & tq. You will be so far ahead to get your heads serviced to whatever your build calls for.

If you are wanting to stay granite the 110 head is basically your only choice. Your best option would probably be as others have mentioned, buy a set off Ebay and ship them to ehoever you decide to use as a porter. I have a set setting in the garage now waiting for me to put on that followed just that route. Use a little patience and you can pick a set up real reasonable. Think I was 325 for the set I picked up. Then when they go to your porter he can set the heads up however is needed for your cam and pistons and replace guides, valves, and whatever else is decided between the 2 of you. Finished product is something built around your motor, not the out of the box one size fits all that you would get with the MVA. Just my opinion
